I'm not ashamed to say that I ran, instead of staying to fight. That other fellow, Del Varner, if I remember it right- he ran as well, but the other men were more hostile, though hardly as quick..." Up close, it looks as if the wound on her arm is a shallow cut, more painful than dangerous- but part of that is because her heavy jacket is apparently cloth-covered armor of some sort.
