A revised (proofread by fan) version of “Cartographer Burnaba Blumberg” FREE PDF is now available.

It’s a story about gnome who became a cartographer to find undiscovered mystical place and love of his life once seen in a dream.
There are some maps, eg. Thanksgiving Gorge that demands an offering or else it swallows foolhardy travelers forever.

A Few words about `101 streets and squares-Crooked Wheel Street`

pijalniacopy.jpg

Why should I buy 'Crooked Wheel Street'?

- Because it is a very good tool for any DM who runs his campaign in a urban environment . 'Crooked Wheel Street' is a versatile supplement, replete with visual aids, which can be easily added to any fantasy setting. Furthermore - DM's can use the buildings` illustrations and plans from the Art pack section to create complete new streets suitable for their particular campaign(s). The above is consistent with The Forge Studios philosophy of encouraging the creativity and ideas of DMs.

What will I find inside the supplement?

- The supplement focusses on a street located in a rough part of town. 'The Crooked Wheel Street' consists of seven Building sheets with descriptions and illustrations of the buildings. Each sheet provides basic information about the condition of the buildings, the owners and one adventure hook. A perspective drawing, three floor plans and portraits of the owners are also attached to the Building sheet.

What readers will find in the next parts of `101 streets and squares`?

- Our goal is to create complete descriptions with illustrated reference materials for either creating a fantasy town from scratch in homegrown campaign(s), or for adding new streets in a pre-made town for a commercial setting!. In up-and-coming parts of the series The Forge Studios will focus on streets located in the different quarters of a typical fantasy town.

Thanks for support, Anna.
We understand that graphics is a specialization of The Forge, so we plan to do more and more graphics/ maps/tiles.

[imagel]http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v226/Anuire/Manorek.jpg[/imagel]For example "Manor" will be supported next months with:

- Big map of all knight's lands, with all forest, pastures and orchards. A typical feudal manor occupies a square area of two miles on every side, so we'll make 1 square = 200 ft. (the distance a man-at-arm covers in a minute). Pic of the right is just a brief :)

[imager]http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v226/Anuire/Maps/ManorGrid.jpg[/imager]- Tiles of all buildings within a hamlet (donjon, palisade, gate, chapel and many more) and tiles of movable tactical useful objects (wagon, barrels, a fire). All tiles will have system description (cover bonus etc.) on the reverse.

- Tiles of various interesting (for combat) places of manor (a little bridge, sunken abbey, beehives in a orchard, dam [weir] between lakes, druidic circle, woodcutters' shack in a clearing, forgotten crypts below burned hamlet, cellars below vineyards and many more).

All this will be published before a Strongholds 2: Barony.

Hmm. Drooling on one's keyboard tends to make a mess. ;)

Definitely looking forward to more of your great products. (Man, I really wish I could draw like that.)
