I for one, don't like any of those possibilities. I think that the next big revolution will be just that: the next big revolution. If DNA was the last big revolution, then the next on won't be any time soon. Too close, chronologically.
IMO, the next big revolution will occur when all of the countries in the world become one collective nation, sort of like a much bigger United States (literal meaning of the phrase, not the present nation) in that the UN finally WORKS. Then we begin to pacify our global society by wiping out all historical records of war, bit by bit, begin space exploration in earnest, that goes on for a while, then we run into another sentient race that thinks of us as potential slave and food items, but no one believes these claims until it's almost too late, we turn our big ol' communications lasers into defensive weaonry, kill the invaders and create the largest military force in human history to defend ourselves, so we end up just the way we are now, just in space with death lazers and evil aliens.
