The Githyanki Incursion

The Drow are getting cooler thanks to the retirement of the old TSR policies. IMVHO the problem with them in 2e was that these deeply nasty evil types were never that evil. Now their babies eat one another in the womb. But Gith are still better- maybe they'll kill all the Drow in Faerun when I run Incursion.

After just picking up this issue, this is my favorite. This is the best Polyhedreon they put out followed by the spelljammer.

To me that Hijinx was a waste. I am not interested in D20 Modern, it doesn't bother me with when they have a Poly devoted to it, but Josie and the Pussycats?!?!?!?. Blank grid paper would havbe been more useful than that garbage.

But this Githyanki one is cool. Now they need Slaad issue.

Lets just hope Eric Mona doesn't throw in his Rainbow Brite mini game with Strawberry Shortcake crossover.

This is not an attack, but how can you detest hijinx so much and then quote Bionic Six? Don't get me wrong, I loved Bionic Six, but it was pretty corny...

It was corny. Jabberjaw was a corny cartoon, I liked it. Doesn't mean I want to play a RPG centered around it.

Just got the new Dugneon/Poly, featuring the big Incursion crossover event extravaganza.

Sorry to be such a newbie, however what is Dungeon/Poly? I love the Githyanki and I'd really like to know more about this Incursion thing.

I picked up the new Dungeon as well...I don't get them too often....concentrate mainly on Dragon. However, I'm *very* impressed....if this is the quality of stuff they're putting out, I might have to check out other issues.

The githyanki are *so* much cooler than the drow....and more alien. And totally under-used. I support the call for more material supporting the Githyanki, Githzerai, and Illithids. On that topic, the Githzerai really need more detail as well.

Sorry to be such a newbie, however what is Dungeon/Poly? I love the Githyanki and I'd really like to know more about this Incursion thing.

Dungeon and Polyhedron are the joined-at-the-hip companion magazines of Dragon.

Dragon contains all sorts of add-on material for players and gamemasters, including 'fluff' articles and roleplaying or narration tips, while Dungeon features mainly ready-to-use adventures and Polyhedron is a d20/SRD support that usually consists of a d20 mini-game, like Spelljammer or Mecha Crusade.

Edit: Forgot to say, I'm glad to see a thread that states what a great resource D/P is, to counterbalance the whine-thread about how it's supposedly gotten much worse through the years..
