The Githyanki Incursion

IThe githyanki are *so* much cooler than the drow....and more alien. And totally under-used. I support the call for more material supporting the Githyanki, Githzerai, and Illithids. On that topic, the Githzerai really need more detail as well.
Yes! YES!! YES!!! :D

My only complaint is that they didn't really incorporate much in the way of psionics into the articles. A note here, a mention there. That's it. Part of the apeal of Githyanki is how dangerous they are because of psionics. However, it doesn't really matter all that much since it's fairly easy to incorporate.

All of which is to say, BRAVO Paizo! Keep it up.

My guess is that D&D design are reworking the psionics rules to mesh with 3e+ and didn't have it worked out to a satisfactory level in time for that issue.

Gee, I don't know. If I were going to pick a race beginning with "G" from the original Fiend Folo to showcase I think it would have been the Gibberling. :D

As far as psionics...I wonder if they were just trying to abide by the old rule that D&D products won't assume that you own every other book. The whole Incursion event could've been very psi-heavy...but if you don't own the Psionics Handbook, you're out of luck.

It occurs to me that the Blood Wars could be revisited in a format similar to this. A Dragon magazine focusing on "the journey into the Underworld" or "Hell on Oerth"; a Dungeon with a couple of adventures pitting demon vs. devil; and a Poly minigame giving expanded info on demonic and diabolic PCs.

Well, apart from the Psionic Rules being in the System Reference Document , I do think that normal rules for Gith and such should be available... however, some support for people like me, who bought the PsiHB, would also be nice.

A recent Dragon Magazine issue did this very well, having dual statted the options, so you could use either. Perhaps there were space constraints in the already massive Dungeon #100 however.

Go straight with "Year of the Gith" with the plot to unify, and a little appreciation for the other side of the Gith... my favorite PC race, the hard-nosed, hard-hearted, hard-fisted Githzerai.

Now there's something I have to agree with.
