The Goblin Defense Fund

We'll skip the politics, thanks, unless you're willing to sing.

Oh ....

Istanbul was Constantinople
Now it's Istanbul, not Constantinople
Been a long time gone, Constantinople
Now it's Turkish delight on a moonlit night

Every gal in Constantinople
Lives in Istanbul, not Constantinople
So if you've a date in Constantinople
She'll be waiting in Istanbul

Even old New York was once New Amsterdam
Why they changed it I can't say
People just liked it better that way

So take me back to Constantinople
No, you can't go back to Constantinople
Been a long time gone, Constantinople
Why did Constantinople get the works?
That's nobody's business but the Turks

Istanbul (Istanbul)
Istanbul (Istanbul)

Re- errata: Um, well people are free to post their own versions of critters, rules, etc etc. And if they want to jokingly call it "Official (ish)" then maybe we should all get in on the joke.

Re: Armenian Genocide/political debate: when does politics pass into history? I mean as the site rules go. I have a pretty good idea for where I draw the line for myself.

That's one good question. Since some of the stuff happened since 1850 still have impact in today politics and I wouldn't touch those subjects with an eleven feet pole. On the other hand politics before 1800 tend to mix greatly with religion and those subjects are not good either. You just hit a darn good question

People are free to use open source material, and to create more material. They are not free to use the d20 logo, the D+D trademark, or to make any similar claim that the material is sactioned by WotC. IMO, this "joke" is borderline trademark infringement.

Dude, after this post, you should be flattered if the worst you're called is 'lame-o'. Please refrain from dissing the extremely-close-to-official-ish content on our site with your boring pseudo-legalese.
