I agree, we are all havig fun . . . especially with the oppurtunity to min/max, because our DM's would never let us do it in our games . . .

and the irony of a human pretending to be an elf, making fun of humans is almost at part with Monty Pythons "life of brian" where they had men dress up as women, who were pretending to be men -- just so they could attend a stoning . . .
 

the need to edit to add emotions displays the distinct ability of someone having failed their innuendo check . . .

and yeah, the elves should tag team up on these primates. (elves don't have canine teeth, but dogs, and humans and orcs do . . . makes you think.)

and yeah, so far i'm all talk, as i'm not done writing up this guy (tweaking the equipement right now to make up for his obviously flawed level design . . . yeah, a sword fighting cleric with a 10 constitution is going to really be a whole lot of fun in melee)

Eh, why not? Technically, since you're using just the SRD, you could take Death and Water or whatever nonsense you heart desires.

Actually, from what I'm told, the DMG doesn't have bland base NPCs anymore. The 3.5 ones are unequipped which means that they can't be used plug and play style.

Anyway, as evidenced by their better stats and greater wealth, these are intended to be PCs.

Unfortunately this character doesn't really take advantage of the duellist's abilities. With the given stats (or with any stats at all--the given stats merely emphasize the problem), a character will be hard pressed to be competent in melee and have a good int (and a multiclass wizard who did would probably be better served by either Eldritch Knight or Arcane Trickster). And even if the character somehow managed an 18 int, he'd still be much better off using a mithral chain shirt and buckler until he reached quite high levels. The only abilities that really benefit him are Improved Reaction, Precise Strike, Acrobatic Charge, Elaborate Parry, and Deflect Arrows--none of which are gained until 2nd level--and the ability to gain decent skill points with a decent skill list in a +1 BAB/lvl, d10 HD class.
