just formatting the elven cleric . . . dude kicks butt at 9th, but well, it's a long way from 1st to 9th . . .

unfortnately he is somewhat item dependant, but not completely . . . but then again, what 9th character isn't better when he has his magical stuff than when he has nothing?

very few, that's for sure.

ashrem, this was fun stuff. i'll be more productive during the work week than the weekend, i'd LOVE to do another character.

Ashrem,

I'll be sending you 4 versions of my dwarven waraxe wielding, knife throwing, dwarf fighter.

Some one (E-B?) mentioned the wealth. Should we drop this down to NPC wealth levels? It would be useful to have a large repository of pregened NPCs, and less useful to have PCs.

Thoughts?

Well, my thought is that it is much easier to just cross a magic item or two off his equipment list than it is to go through the books and pick new ones.

I'd really prefer these guys to have PC level equipment. After all, the primary reason for this is to have a storage of characters usable for playtesting and quick PCs. Having NPCs is a secondary goal.

Wonder if the Mystic Theurge is unbalanced? Grab one and try him out. You can't do that if he is short on equipment. You would have to do a lot of tweaking and the point is to have no (or very little) tweaking necessary to use these guys.

Matt, sorry to nitpick, but you can't use an amulet of health at the same time as a periapt of wisdom (I ran into the same problem when outfitting my human paladin). They both occupy the neck item slot.

Hey

Thanks man, I'll get on that. I'm used to making crap be "hats of x" and such to get around some of the more ridiculous rules. I also totally forgot to add skill synergy bonuses :o I'll take care of that later tonight.

Thanks

whew....

I now have finished:

Elf Wizard
Human Fighter
Half-orc Barbarian
&
Elf Fighter / Ranger

I'm tired.......

Randomling, I sent the Human Fighter to you.

I REALLY should have said this earlier but, when you post your character, please list the number of ranks they have in each skill. It's a real pain to backwards engineer each one.

Thanks!
