My previous ranger has gotten some updates in response to player feedback. I won't bore you with design decision recaps, as you can find those in the old forum topic and PDF of the class linked below.
A basic summary of changes to update 0.2:
- Survivalist dice integrated more heavily into the class, with survivalist dice progression changed to match.
- Survivor's Rest is now called "Herblore", and is slightly more flexible.
- Primeval Awareness moved to 3rd level, and Survivalist's Step moved to 4th
- Hunter archetype is now more Quarry-focused, in response to feedback. Terrain-based tactics are more combat-utility, rather than direct-damage-boosters.
- Spellstrider Archetype given a boost - Proficiency with wisdom saves comes in at 11th level, and they get Battle Magic at 15th level.
- The first draft of two new feats
- Formatting changes - changes made to features that look similar to the ones in the Player's Handbook have been highlighted in red, to help people with less-than-stellar reading comprehension (like me)
