Until I see a movie where the CG is completely lifelike, and therefore have a comparison I'm not worried if it looks "real" or not. I'll just enjoy the movie for what it is. Ang Lee has a history of making good films so there's no reason to doubt that Hulk will be entertaining. :)

I've seen such a film...'Final Fantasy', where there were a few moments that I forgot I was watching a great big extended cutscene. But how good of a film was it....well....

The Hulk cgi seemed unbalanced, particularly when he was actually moving quickly. The shot of him obscured by smoke in the building was pretty nice. But many of the shots of him suffered the one major criticism I had about some of Spiderman's cgi sequences...a lack of perceived weight or gravity. The Hulk's physics just didn't seem 'heavy'. He was a little TOO obviously cgi for my tastes, but his look is excellent.

I'll reserve judgement, yet. Ang Lee brings a lot in, and it looks like a good movie. We'll see.

I should have said something along the lines of "CG combined with live-action" or something like that. FF had some sensational CG, but it wasn't complete. There were some scenes in their where the actors were obviously CG. I'm thinking more along the lines of indisinguishable CG characters. They've been able to do it with everything but that so far. I think we'll eventually see the tech get to that point. Sooner than later.
