Sure, it's possible to craft a large Swordbow. You can also sell back stuff to Hanaav the Artificer as though you were selling to a store (in essence he is your store, as most normal stores probably wouldn't deal with you.) We can say the masterwork cost is covered free, but the enchanting still eats resources and thus gp.
At this early stage the group hasn't really done much to set him up with the means to produce items. If you were to raid a mine and pay him in ore, or capture some villagers, that would probably make it easier for him to produce items (and make them cheaper.)
Shayuri - Feel free to post when you guys go ahead with the plan. I have a rough idea of how Roillard would respond (which will of course change if you change details). I guess you're waiting on your teammates to voice their opinions for now, so I'll maybe give it a day or two and check back.

Whew! I think I caught up on the reading. If say anything too stupid, chalk it up to missing something... or being stupid, if you want to be uncharitable.
I also don't recall how much XP we got earlier (before this last 13,000). Am I correct in assuming that Rose would have leveled, too?

Well...actually, I'm waiting also for a judgement on how and even if a suitable replacement for the gem can be found and/or made. Most particularly, I've looked up the salient spells that Sil has access to, and I've found none of them target objects specifically. So I'm not sure she actually can use illusion to make a stone appear to be a gem.
Which means that making a fake may not work.
So...if anyone has suggestions or ideas for how it might still work, I am more than open to them.

Updated Gargoyle. Added Strongarm Bracers (Gives Powerful Build Trait) to his Bracers of Aerial Comb at a cost of 9,000gp. Also used the Thinaun and his current +1 Swordbow to create a new large +2 Swordbow of soul trapping at a cost of 21,175gp.
Can the Artificier tell if their is a soul already trapped in it?

I was kind of hoping someone would have a suggestion.
Stealing a gem out of a treasure chest bound for a demon lord isn't quite what I had in mind.
Not that she wouldn't consider it...but on a risk/reward basis, that's a lot of risk for not so huge a reward.
Though...hmm...well, it shan't hurt to get a bit more info.
