Brenwar muses, "Kobolds will try to enchant anything will they not? I wonder which shaman had the bright idea to enchant a necklace of fingers."

[sblock=ooc]At this point, I'm just waiting for the items to be distributed and for someone to say in-character "we head out." No rush, I just wanted you all to know I'm ready to go.[/sblock]

Is someone going to lay claim to this rather grisly ornament? I have none as I have just arrived. Firete looks around at the party, then puts her harp away. If there is nothing else, then perhaps we should move on.

Cheysuli Sage

"personally, I find the thing a little creepy. I would be quite happy for one of you guys to claim it. I would not mind keeping that potion on my belt however; just in case... I agree; we should get back on the trail post haste."

Yishim passes the necklace to Miranna. Miranna, that leaves you. If you don't want it, I'm happy to wear it for a while. But you three earned this in battle so it doesn't seem right. Once we return to a large town like Daunton, I know people who can re-enchant this to something less disgusting.

Regardless of what happens, Yishim shoulders his pack and is ready to be off.

For a moment, Miranna simply held the gruesome talisman in one leather-gloved hand, eyeing it warily, as if it might spring to some hellish grasping life. After a moment, though, she shrugged and donned the relic, slipping it beneath her high-collared jacket to rest against her armor.

"Let's go," she growled,

[sblock=treasure]So it sounds like Chey gets the potion, yes?[/sblock]

You move through the forest towards where the Kobolds' lair is marked on your map. You hear the sound of running water not long before you see the small stream running down the hill, and you realize that the lair is probably around the waterfall. You aren't at the stream yet; you're still several yards away.

[sblock=Perception 13]You hear voices over the sound of the waterfall, although you can't determine the language or speakers.
[sblock=Perception 15]You see Kobolds moving through the trees around the stream.[/sblock][/sblock]

Miranna stayed near the back of the group, keeping watch behind them as they moved. The woods here were nothing like the Feywild that was so familiar to her- the trees were different, the birds were different, even the rustle of wind in the leaves was different...

Once they came to a stop, she ventured a few words in a raspy whisper. "Almost wish Bricks was still with us, instead of helping those people. Anybody else good at moving quietly?"
