The Jade Frontier, part 2 (DM: THB, Judge: Lord Sessadore)

Brenwar staggers under the chill blow delivered by the creature but fights through his pain. While Miranna manages to keep the spectral creature distracted with her impressive sword skills Brenwar slips around behind it. He quickly unleashes a fury of blows tearing at the ethereal creature. A glow surrounds Brenwar as his prayers offer protection from the creature's attacks.

Looking around as the rest of the party finishes their attacks, Firete sees that the one behind Miranna was still standing, but only just. She points her sword towards it, pulling the ghost away from Miranna and towards her and then dispersing into nothingness.
She then turns to the sarcofagus behind her, using her knowledge of magic to assess just what it would take to destroy it.

As the captains dissipate, the purple fires surrounding the coffins diminish. Diminish, but do not extinguish.

Chey wracks her brain, but cannot come up with any useful information regarding the ghostly child. The apparition in question continues moving south until she is out of sight.
