The Jade Frontier, part 2 (DM: THB, Judge: Lord Sessadore)

OOC: Perception check, 1d20+3= 5; roll Roll Lookup ; not that Miranna will be able to tell with a roll like that, but does it look like the tomb doors are still sealed, and only the exterior defaced? Or does it look like they have been opened? If they are still sealed, we ought to leave them, I think.

The doors open noisily, as if they have not been opened in some time. The amount of dust in the newly revealed room confirms this suspicion. The chamber itself is fairly small. Against the opposite wall there is a raised dais, upon which lies another sarcophagus. Besides for that, the room is empty. The walls were once painted, but they have faded in time.

Miranna paused to survey the scene for a few moments. "I don't think now is the time for grave-robbing- let us leave this place for later."

OOC: Looks like we're going to have to try those rune-scribed passages after all. I'm fairly doubtful we'll find any useful clues here- and even if there is a potentially helpful spirit in that sarcophagus, we can't speak the local tongue.

Yishim is intrigued by the sarcophagus, and thinks there may be hold a clue to what is happening in these ruins. Let's check it out. There could well be some clues to the strange ghosts we've seen or the evil that's lurking here. I, for one, wonder who desecrated the door and perverted the shrine to Palladys.

With that, Yishim enters the room, on his guard.[sblock=OOC]I do have the comprehend languages ritual - I think we used it in my very first encounter with the kobolds.[/sblock]

Yishim is right, Miranna, Firete says, peering carefully through the door but not entering. Besides, we would hardly be disturbing a grave if someone has already been there before us. Careful, Yishim! Firete shouts as he enters. Here's hoping I don't have to come in there and save you...again!
