The Last Gods - In Game - The Sword and Scale Trading Company

OOC : Damn embarassed for missing out on so much stuff. I kept forgetting about this thread -.-.

IC : While moving along with the rest of the group, Fhilereane wonders out loud "I wonder what will happen if we start poking the floor with a sharp stick?"

"Let's just get wherever it is we need to get and leave it at that. This is a new and exciting experience that I would like to very quickly put squarly in the realm of memory. Plus, I am pretty sure a behloder could hear what we are saying, so let's keep the pointy stick talk to a minimum."

The path leads to a gap several hundred feet across. Reaching the end of the road and looking down, you can make out a narrow bridge long enough to span the gap. Unfortunately, the bridge rests on the ground far below you. A glow catches your eye as the sun(?) glistens off something metal near your feet. Squatting down you see six metal rings attached to chains leading into the cliff face.

The Lizardfolk warrior looks over the edge of the cliff down to the bridge far below. "Sssss a long way down," Skleroc comments unnecessarily. Hooking his morningstar to his belt, he bends down and grabs one of the six chains to reveal it's length and test it's weight.

Skleroc grabs one of the rings with his scaly hand and pulls, nothing happens. He puts more effort in, calling on all his hidden reserves of strenght but still nothing. The other five rings twinkle invitingly in the wain yellow light.

"What are the oddsssss?" questions the Lizardman. "Ssssixsss ringsssss. Ssssixsss of ussss," he adds, the implication clear from his body language that they should all grab a ring.

Orin nods. "Almost as though it were planned that way," he remarks. Shrugging, he grips hold of one of the remaining five rings.
