The League of Gentlemen, Extraordinaire (The noble post-Ennies alternative)

Do we want to try to organize a poker game, or something? Or are we happy with just sitting around and chatting in the Canadiana?

I feel a little odd declaring the Canadiana "the place to be" for the Noble Crew, since it's basically tantamount to inviting myself and a bunch of my friends over to someone else's place unannounced.

Surely we can, with our collective brainpower, envision an actual alternative activity to the Girl's Night/TBR outings?

Also, the Canadiana might not be open. Last year Denise said they weren't going to have their place open every night to people. They loved doing it but it made for long hours and tired them in the past few years.

We can always make a late night stroll through the con making fun of people....... :p

I don't know how effective our posse would be, since we'll essentially just be a gaggle of nerds making fun of other (albeit presumably more pathetic) gaggles of nerds. Nevertheless, your suggestion may be what we end up doing, particularly if the Canadiana suite is not as welcoming as it was in the past.

On that note, I certainly wouldn't blame Hellhound and Dextra if they decided not to let us all in as they did last year. While the suite was, for me, one of the highlights of last year's con, it also had to be an enormous pain in the ass for our hosts.

I think I would have called an end to it as soon as the first interloper blew chunks in the middle of the room. The fact that they didn't is an enormous testament to their quality as hosts!

We do have the option of invading someone else's hotel room. We don't even have to know them, just get a foot in the door and the room's ours!! ;)

My suite will be occupied by a rather large group of women who will not want to see our faces, so I will be homeless. If we don't choose to gather somewhere then I will most likely play in a Magic Tourney or something that I can fit in at the last minute. I would definitely prefer to gather somewhere though, and a poker game sounds like a decent idea. Not sure how many guys we will have, but maybe we can do a Hold 'Em game with a low buy in? I don't want anyone to be excluded so a bar is probably not the best idea. I have tons of beer and pretzels games if we just want to get together and play some easy games and socialize.

We will figure out something. I'm not a poker player and I perfer to loose my money in the dealer room. Unless I'm permitted to raise with say DMG 2.....

I'm pretty sure Denise said that there would be only one Canadiana night this year. The specific night has yet to be announced though.

We should ask SK if there is any Laser Tag in the area. A night of laser tag would rock. There is plenty of things that we can do.

I've got it!

We'll all put on our Pajamas, get in in our sleeping bags, and then play truth or dare! And then, we can give each other makeovers, and have a pillow fight! *Squeal!*

Not really though. A low/no buy-in Poker game sounds like a possibility. Let's keep brainstorming!
