We don't want to promote drinking to a higher level.. keep in mind that minors for drinking in the U.S. are 21 and under. Jack Daniels and Baileys and ect. ect. get enough air and paper time on their own.
I agree, there is enough advertising for those brand names as is, but aside from that aspect, I'd hate to imagine the liscensing fees that could get involved. Using a product name like that could result in usage issues that could become rather costly, just a thought.
As for other drinks. I'd say that soda would be necissary, it's such a mainstay of current society, and I doubt if that would change by the time the Meeting Place is set in. I'd suggest the usual sort of beverages, coffee, tea, beer, wine, the traditional sorts of drinks. Perhaps expanding on items such as coffee, adding things that have become 'pop culture' staples, like cappucino, espresso, that sort of thing to the menu of available drinks, if not necissarrily commands.
Oh, and on another note, I agree with Nugan, rap contests could work, since many people are already used to the CoC, I don't think it would be as difficult to keep the verses clean. As Nugan said:

This is absolutely correct, there are plenty of instances of clean rappers. I'm also in complete agreement on the Will Smith thing
