Another thing to point out, is that Prestige classes in D&D 3.x are one of the main ways to enhance a character. Especially if you are focusing on a particular type of combat or weapon. The only significant abilities she has left to gain from further ranger levels are camoflage and hide in plain sight. HIPS, is probably the only really good one and that you don't get that until 17th. If she's elven then you might want to consider going Arcane Archer. Though I think DWS or Order of the Bow Initiate are better prestige classes. However, you might need that 12th lvl feat to use to qualify for a prestige class. So consider it carefully before you level up.
