The most useless prestige class ability ?

I actually think this is an incredibly useful ability. IT codifies and allows something that would otherwise be incredibly rare, making the PC into an oracle.

We joke a lot about it, though; for instance, the divine agent in out party goes shopping. She's about to pay for her merchandise and suddenly her eyes go solid green and an unnaturally beautiful voice comes out of her mouth. "What do you think you're doing? Those shoes don't go with that dress. And for crying out loud, your friends let you pick out your own jewelry? What happened, you NORMALLY dress in the dark? Remind me to grant you darkvision! Also, we need to talk; I'm not sure I like that inn room where you're staying. The chamberpots need scrubbing, did you notice, and there isn't one tapestry depicting My glory! you should warn them that they court disaster. And another thing...."

Sounds cool. My dm never uses it and we are at the start of what looks to be a Law/chaos war.

Um, that's the same as the Wizard, or Sorcerer's familar abilities. Which has been shown several benfits, the first being the anti-magic you mentioned above, but also, the ability for someone else to talk to the familiar with the use of a tonges spell.

I thought this about wizards' familiars as well until I realized that despite the ability to use telephathic communication, most familiars don't speak a language. Consequently, if you want detailed information from a familiar or give detailed instructions to your familiar, you would either have to have a raven familiar or wait until your familiar gained the speak with master ability.
