Appeal to his vanity, Klik. He will be more, receptive, to your overture should you appear to be a fellow in this contest.

Verthick doesn't seem to take notice of your interest, intent as he is upon the hrazhak match. He appears to be a little anxious at how the game is going, but that is easy to read upon his face.

Momentarily, it seems one of his teams players has managed to grab the enemy idol, and is making a run for his goal. Verthick rises up again, yelling, " Run! Run, damnit! Watch out! Argh! " but the other team has intercepted the player, and a scuffle breaks out on the field. Of course, the officials don't step in, as this is all part of the game.

Yelling- "Go ! Go! strike and run!" turns and gives Verthick his best and most sincere smile he can. "I would imagine you could have either dodged that tackle by side stepping him then reversing around him making him look like a fool child or straight up knocked his sense back into his thick noggin. Agh! What a game! So fast and fierce. Only a true warrior and athlete could ever excel at such a sport. I could never do any of that myself."

Verthick glances at you, but only for a moment. " Shove off, mate, he grumbles dismissively. " Can't you see the game's almost over? If you're bent on 'arrassing me, come back and talk to me then. "

Play doesn't last that much longer. Verthick's team manages to score another point, which elicits the requisite whooping and hollering, and in the end they manage to win out. After the game comes to its conclusion, most of the players head begin limping over to the healers, a bit worse for the wear.

Klik holds back and waits for when everyone is leaving. He will be standing in an area where Verthick will pass by him.

After the final score is announced, Verthick finally looks like he is ready to leave. Rubbing his nose with his left hand, he grabs a half-empty bottle that had been accompanying him, and gets up, leaving some other rubbish for the cleaners. He makes his way over to you, after pausing a moment when his attention is grabbed by a shifter with a bandana in the same colours Verthick is wearing.

" You should know better than to be disturbing a hrazhak diehard in the middle of a game, if you're a fan of the game, " he grunts, looking you over. " Now, how's about you tell ol' Verthick what you want with 'im, before I get really annoyed with you. "

I told you, Klik, but it was not quite what you were expecting, was it, old boy? Listen to me, heed my advice, and you will do just fine...
