The Necromancer's Skull (Judge - covaithe)

Unable to control himself any longer, Vlastos also lights a torch. He then re-centers his light spell on O12. Finally, he walks over to examine the orb (X12?). Must have orb, he can be heard muttering as he proceeds across the room.

As Vixo steps on the last patch of floor, spears erupt from the tiles in several places around the room. Vixo is able to dodge these spears, but they will spring up again if he remains on that section of floor.

OOC: Vlastos, I'm not yet resolving your action, in case seeing the spear trap changes what you want to do.

OOC: Hmm,... I do seem to losing some resolve for my stated action...

Must have orb, must have,... what the hell? Damn, Vixo, this place is infested with traps, blurts the wizard!

OOC: I'll remain at O12 if possible and glance occasionally to the North in case of unwelcome company!:D

"Vixo, Steppyn, can you both thake alook at those spikes. they must have a way to disable them." suggest Trevor. "Anyway, that's why you are paid for, no?"

Steppyn notices an additional pair of spear plates (green) next to the two already seen by the pedastal. (Perception DC was 20, but I gave you a +2 circumstance bonus since you had just SEEN the plates next to the still-hidden ones activiate.) He thinks he can handle disarming the plates, as well (DC 25 Thievery check will disarm a single tile).

OOC: Please let me know if your holiday plans will keep you away from the boards. I don't mind at all, I just want to know if we can keep going or should take a break. I'll be available to keep running the game.

Steppyn is unable to disarm the plate at first attempt, but nothing bad is seen to happen when his attempt fails, either.
