Second time's the charm, as Steppyn is able to successfully disarm the trigger plate for one of the tiles (red circle represents the disarmed trap).

Steppyn moves past the disabled floor and stands before the pedestal with the orb and daggers. He sees no indication of anything amiss.

Must have orb, mumbles the stationary Vlastos. Must have orb, he says still resolute. Then, at last unable to stand it any longer, he quickly moves to S11, lit torch in hand, light spell re-situated on his prior location at O12. Somewhere along the way, though, he bumps into Steppyn coming back from the other direction. Er, yeah, uh, Steppyn, I was just coming over to see if , uh, you needed, uh, some help? Er, uh, yeah, that's why I was coming over, yeah, er, uh,..., stammers the embarrased wizard as he joins the returning rogue (probably around R12).


Screw it! Did you get the loot, man, he adds with unfeigned excitement?
