The Necromancer's Skull (Judge - covaithe)

If there is no objection, I'll take the orb, says Vlastos. Uh, sorry, Trevor, you too Steppyn. It seems I've discovered that I'm greedy (or at least anxious for power) and I seem to read that motivation into others. Anyway, it looks like there's plenty to go around. Well done, everyone!

"Outssstanding!" hisses Skalisss. "Thisss almossst asss good asss the Ssspring tidal ceremony for Netari, almossst."

After equiping the armor Skalisss says: "Now for the Ssskull".

ooc: looking at the wish lists, vicious was only on Steppyn's, so Vixo will grab the duelist one.

Vixo compares daggers and huddles with Steppyn for a moment. They each take one and equip it.

Right, then, one skull coming up, announces the orb expanded wizard! Let's take the cheese and proceed in the original marching order north and use our new stuff to decimate the fell hoards that await us there! As always, rogues got the traps.

"Greedy? Well, I rather see that now we are better equip, we won't take a nap after each combat. Anyway, it was part of our agreement with our employeer. We are just taking our payment. Let's go now, we have waste enough time." tells Trevor, playing a moment with the new longsword, finding the balance point of the weapon.

Agreed, says the wizard, better equiped and ready to KICK some ass! We'll need a rogue or two at P4 to handle the spear trap, and then it's off to the races!

Vixo sees no additional traps, but is able to deactivate the spear plate in front of the path leading north.

After an uneventful climb up a short hallway, Steppyn - in the lead - sees ahead in the darkness a large chamber with a sarcophagus in the center. Beyond, there is what appears to be a black, polished rib bone, made of onyx setting on a podium (L3/L4/M3/M4).

More importantly, the drow sees seven skeletons surrounding the sarcophagus! At the far end is a skeleton whose very form is ablaze. On either side of the grave is a skeleton in chain mail, each bearing a long sword and heavy shield. Finally, there are four skeletons, one at each corner of the sarcophagus, holding shortbows, each with a long sword and heavy shield strapped to its back.

OOC: Party light sources include Vixo and Vlastos each with a torch. The lines around the middle of the room are steps up. It costs one square of movement to move up the steps, no additional squares to move down. The same for the lines at I22/J22 and O22/P22.

OOC: Does the Fiery skeleton shed light? I mean if I look at teh picture, he is in flames, which should light around him, but I don't see any rule about that. RAW would says no, but common sense would say yes...
