OOC: Any and all conditions affecting the original creature at the time of splitting only affect the first creature. The second split creature is not affected. Not that this thing had any effects on it when it split, but just so you know.

Both of Trevor's attacks miss the blob, but at least he's able to shake off the effects of the acid and get the blob's attention.

Skalisss, however, is able to drive his blade into the original orange blob. The mound quivers once more, then loses all cohesion and dissolves into a shallow orange puddle.

Steppyn surprises even himself when his dagger catches the remaining blob. This half-blob, too, has taken all it can, and collapses in another orange puddle.

The party isn't done, alas. Vixo still has lingering acid on his arm, and the stuck trap still sits in its alcove, grinding its wheels against Steppyn's dagger...
