3.5 Dwarves don't get they're speed reduced due to wearing heavy armor or carrying a meduim or heavy load. Under the Tumble skill it says " You can't use this skill if your speed has been reduced from armor, equipment, or loot." So, fully armored dwarves tumbling too uber? ;)

Yes it does. I have 7th level dwarf fighter in one game where DM is moving to 3.5 ASAP. Monk is going to teach me how to tumble. :cool:
 


Don't forget to apply your armor check penalty, and the armor check penalty for your load (which still applies to the dwarf, even though his movement rate doesn't change). It'll take a lot of skill ranks to offset full plate.
 

Anyone remember Puck from the Alpha Flight Comic series? :D

I suppose with a lower center of gravity (the same reason they get that bonus to resist trips and bull rushes), they also make excellent tumblers.

But you still get the extra bonus to Fighting Defensively and Total Defense with 5 ranks, regardless of what your armor check penalty is.
