Hears breathing all around her? We're not in the room yet, so she might assume those sounds were coming from people waiting on the sides of the doorway? Does a 24 perception allow her to figure out how many shallow breathers there are?

Your right that was a poor attempt at being ominous, ill do better next time. Alot somewhere between 4-8

No just the fire and your lights cover a small portion of the room depending how far forward they are I would guess about 20-30ft from your light spells
