Surprise doesn't grant advantage. Being Hidden dows, though. If the monsters are surprised, they merely do not get to act on their turn. They can take reactions, but only AFTER their turn has passed.

No, surprise just denies a turn. If we make Stealth checks we could get advantage from being hidden.

You could rule we are Hidden just by virtue of the RP that we kind of wrote. And you can rule we have Advantage from them being unaware. But that's a DM ruling, not an aspect of the Surprised condition.

Sorry if I made it complicated lol I used to think Surprised granted Advantage as well. Assassin rogues might have something like that. Can't recall, since I haven't read them in a while.

Nothing complicated I was thinking of ruling adv anyway as you kinda hidden. Tis a,trivial encounter anyway.
