Yeah, I know, it is a sequel to the Iliad. My point is, the movie Troy was a dull conventional adaptation full of Hollywood tropes and anachronistic armour. I would hope for something more, well, unconventional from Nolan. Even the telling of the story in two timelines that converge at the end has been done before - indeed I suspect it’s where Nolan got the idea for Dunkirk from.
Still maybe he will pull off some sort of surprise. Maybe it’s actually James Joyce in fancy dress.
