(The mace slays the badlands; averts the terror of the fires!)
The Poet stands stunned. He had already relaxed in anticipation of the end of the fight. How had his opponent managed to dispel his powerful attacks? He shakes his head in bewilderment and, somewhat shaken, attempts a comeback using a non-rhyming form.
Mace;
Blunt, crushing, slaying;
Breaking, subduing, desert, badlands;
Heat, Sand, Fire;
Averting, avoiding;
Terror.
A huge, spikey mace appears out of the shadows and, attempting to avert all obsticles, swings at Tori.
edit: OOC: How do you make spaces in front of the first word in a line show up? That's supposed to be a Diamonte poem up there, but I don't know how to insert the spaces in front of the lines.
