*Tori looks to destroy his opponents drive and stop him in his tracks.....*

The kama painfully destroys the grotto; dodges the efforts of the crevice!

(The mace slays the badlands; averts the terror of the fires!)

The Poet stands stunned. He had already relaxed in anticipation of the end of the fight. How had his opponent managed to dispel his powerful attacks? He shakes his head in bewilderment and, somewhat shaken, attempts a comeback using a non-rhyming form.

Mace;
Blunt, crushing, slaying;
Breaking, subduing, desert, badlands;
Heat, Sand, Fire;
Averting, avoiding;
Terror.

A huge, spikey mace appears out of the shadows and, attempting to avert all obsticles, swings at Tori.

edit: OOC: How do you make spaces in front of the first word in a line show up? That's supposed to be a Diamonte poem up there, but I don't know how to insert the spaces in front of the lines.

*Tori shows the poet a thing or two about slaughtering...*

The weasel slaughters the hells; dodges the edge of the club! *yen*

Two appropriate defenses and a pair of nice attacks, but slaughtering is just sounds so much more Painful.

(The east wind overwhelms the orchard; shields against the throw of the star!)

With a tinge of hysteria in his voice, the Poet resorts to Haiku

East Wind overwhealm
Orchards fall, Stars are throwing
We must shield against.

Again the wind forms, but this time with a more subtle tinge of raw power behind it.

*Tori is there one moment.... gone the next.. only to reappear and strike at The Poet*

The secret fang storms the beach; dominates the slash of the star! *yen*

A fang storming a beach however secret doesn't work in my mind, a wind overwhelming an orchard works.
