The Portal (Wanderers)

[Kerrz]

"Running around? Where to? We need to figure out what we're doing on a grand scale, and then when night falls we'll see what the nightlife has to offer..." he responds.

"Don't let me stop you from doing what you want to though."

 

[Maiu Tanta]

"so if i give you say four gold peices that would cover a room and a meal as well. right" Maiu asks the guy.

 

[Morgan Talthos]

"Rymus told us of two jobs that need to be done." I unfold my maps on the innkeeps desk "We can help rebuild the walls here and here or we can go to the cave and Protected the miners. Eather way we should go to the leader of the city and have him hire us."

 

[Endovior]

The innkeeper takes Morgans coins, nodding. He does much the same with Maiu's coins, biut she gets change back (to the tune of one gold coin and 7 silver). (Kerrz receives his change as well at this point)

"That's more like it."

He pulls out two numbered keys and hands them to Morgan and Maiu.

"Bring those back, or you'll sorely regret it."

As Morgan begins unfolding his maps, the innkeeper waves him away.

"Take those to a table, don't cover my desk with your junk."

 

[Maiu Tanta]

" thank you. Can we get some ale or something." Maiu moves to a empty seat and sits down while waiting for her drink.

 

[Endovior]

A serving girl appears quickly, and brings you your meals. They consists of bread, a stew containing some unidentifyable meat, and some average-quality ale. It's not great, but it is better then the rations provided for the sea voyage... largely in that this is fresh food, as opposed to preserved.

 

[Kerrz]

Enjoying the warm, fresh meal in front of him, Leonard talks with his companions around the table, "So, we're off to speak to the nobles, eh? Well, I'm ready to go as soon as I'm done my meal here. There's no time like the present as they say."

 

[Morgan Talthos]

I grab my room key and maps from the innkeeps desk and join maiu and leonard at the table. I smile at the servent girl as she puts down our and flip her my last sliver for a tip. I put my maps on at the center of the table for all of us to watch then start eating.

"well if we go to them we can get payed by them and whatever we can find and sell. after all we do have the archmage to pay back so the more money the faster we get out of dept."

 

[Maiu Tanta]

'that is true and it does sound like a good idea.' maiu starts to eat some of her food.

 

[Kerrz]

Finishing his meal, and seeing that Maiu and Morgan are in agreement, Leonard gathers his things and asks the innkeep for directions to the appropriate authorities. Assuming the proper directions are given, Leonard heads off to find someone in charge in Lindor.
