The Psionicle: Animus' Quest

The goblin continues, and pauses just before he passes in front of the door, looking in your direction.

It draws a dagger, and snarls - it is no mistake that this expression is intended for you, as it takes another step towards you, no longer taking care to be quiet.

If Animus acts first, he will stand up from prone as a Move action, and activate his Psionic Skin as a standard action.

Battle at the Airdocks, Round I

Initiative
Animus - 12
Goblin - 7

You stand and activate your psionic skin, the goblin taken aback by your sudden action.

The goblin nods, seemingly in approval, and takes a quick step towards you (5 ft. step). He stabs at your leg with his dagger, and penetrates the skin (1 damage). You feel something else along the blade, a thin sticky substance that burns as it seeps into the wound (Fort save: 15 + 5 = 20, sucessful), but you manage to fight back the pain.

Animus reaches for the chair next to him and gives it a good swing at the goblin.

Battle at the Airdocks, Round II

You pick up a chair, and attack the goblin with it (11 + 4 = 15), but he deftly dodges out of the way (Miss).

The goblin takes a small step back (5 ft. step), draws a dagger, and throws it at you, but it bounces harmlessly off your armor (Miss).

Damn... I thought he said he was better than Jirlai, but something tells me I'd be down already against the sorcerer. He better not be getting ready to run...

Animus takes the 5 foot step and attacks again with a huff.

You take a step towards the goblin, and bring the chair down on him once more (7 + 4 = 11), but he once again moves at the last moment.

The goblin dashes away (Move action), and as he does so you lunge at him with the chair (16 + 4 = 20), and this time you connect, drawing blood (8 damage). The goblin continues, however, drawing his dagger as he does so; however, he stays well within range of his dagger, which he promptly throws at you. It flies poorly, however, and tumbles to the floor at your feet (Miss).

Animus drops the chair and goes for one of the daggers

(Free action to drop, I guess? move action to retrieve the dagger? Or is that a full round? If it's a move action, he'll take full defense for the round.)

He then clutches the small statured goblins blade.
 

Battle at the Airdocks, Round IV

I'd say free action to drop, just like a normal weapon, and a move action to retrieve the dagger.

You drop the chair, and pick up one of the fallen daggers (Move action), then ready yourself against the goblin's attacks.

The goblin draws yet another dagger and throws it at you, but you manage to dodge out of the way (Miss).

Animus will move up to the goblin (5 foot step if applicable, otherwise tumble/move action to get into position).

He charges the undersized dagger with his psionic charge and strikes out.

Charged Dagger: +3 to hit, 1d3+2d6+3 damage.

If the movement was just a 5 foot step, then Animus will use his move action to attempt to gain a psionic focus (DC 20, +13 to try). Otherwise, no move action free, so that's the round.
