The Rejection of "Balance" in an RPG

Because I don't need the intellectual crutches. I've got this pink-and-grey thing up between my ears that works just fine, and I devote some of it to making decisions on how my DUNGEONS & DRAGONS games should work.

That's got to be the most arrogant and pompous responses I've read. Sure, you're probably going to want to flame me now with even more arrogant and self-aggrandizing remarks, but you really deserve to be called out with remarks like this and I'm more than happy to do it.

I actually wrote some more... but I deleted it. What's the use?

BTW, I've enjoyed many of your other posts and am quite aware that you are an old schooler with Gary Gygax stories and probably a bazzillion D&D stories up the wazoo. I guess that means you can talk down your nose to "the newer generation" of gamers. Whatever.
