Mira calls out before the door can be opened. "Hey, hold up, lets destroy that swinging skull thing before we go through the door that way the kobolds can't use it against us again."

Aelek moves toward the doors as he unsheat his longsword and moves next to teh door. He then look behind. "Mal, are you playing? Glue is good for kids. Show these lizard what kind of man you are."

As Mal climb up, Aelek adds "Look if the last one have taken my hammer, I want them back once we get there tails."

OOC: Sorry, but Sunday is pretty busy days for me. Minor: inspiring Word, Minor: Draw weapon, Move: Move to E10
 

OOC: okay due to my boss telling to actually help our customers and not use maptool, I won't have the round up till late tonight. My goal is 5 posts per week.

OOC : swinging skull are on the ceiling (I think) and they don't move on their own, they were being activated by the kobolds on the platform who have now left.

There's not much we can do about them from inside this room.

Gene ; unless the Kobold opens the door themselves, we won't be ready to open it this round for sure. That's why I sugeested a new initiative with us in the desired position as the door opens. Save times.

But hey, maybe you're hinting that the Kobold are about to make a sortie. *wink, wink, nudge, nudge*.

This round Mal will move next to the door at D10 and wait. When everyone is in place, then I'll climb.
 

OOC: Umm, actually, Mira, Arden, and Angel have ranged attacks and can hit it. I am suggesting we not open the door this round, so that we can take out the rope that the thing is swinging on. If we want to go ahead, thats fine since the thing should be dangling in the middle of the room at the moment and not able to be used to attack from the platforms until it is retreived.

Arden moves to the pool (e4), then he makes the magic hand move towards the doors and drop the sunrod (in f9;free) and try to open the doors (move). The door is barred shut and does not move from the mage hand.

"if anything, Arden and I can take care of whoever gets up there. Mal and Telsayn should get ready by the doors to strike if anything is hiding back there. I dont want to feel like pain, but I don't want us to get ambushed again." says Angel, keeping alert of whats in front of her.

Telsayn moves up to the door and stops.

Mal move up to the platform everyone is ready to put the plan in place.

One kobold runs back up and slams Aelek with the skull (6 hp). Another kobold pops out on the other side and whacks Arden.(10 hp) You are both pushed back 2 squares. Aelek fall 10 feet into the sludgy pit,
1d20 8=25, 1d8 2=6, 1d20 8=20, 1d8 2=10
1d10-2=6

The slinger comes back and hits Telsayn. He is immobilized, and takes 6hp damage.
1d20 6=25, 1d6 3=6

If Aelek has moved to E10, how can he ends in the pit if he is puched 2 squares?
 

My bad. I had him at E8. For mysterious reason, assume you are still at E10, not pushed but lets let the damage stand. The falling damage of course is forgiven

OOC : I finally got the image that the skull hooked was hooked on the ceiling but swinging from one platform to the other. So far I was visualizing it as attacking FROM the ceiling and being mechanically directed toward us by some kind of control panel or simply sheer magic. Gene's post about the skull being on the left platform at the beginning of the round finally made it clear for me.

Logically, if it swings from the platforms, it can't get us if we stand right under it next to the platforms. So basically, all the squishy member of our team are standing right in the danger zone with only the defenders being safe. Move, people!

Gene ; would that be a correct interpretation? I hoep so. I took 10 hp from that damn skull and am not looking for more.
Mal delays until someone blast the kobold above him.
