The Retaking of Forgehold - 4E

OOC: I am so glad we didn't take the time to destroy the trap that is slaughtering us while it wasn't in use

How is Tel hit, he should have total cover from the slinger, shouldn't he?

IC: Mira ducks down below the lip of the coffin for cover, slowly crawling to the other side before popping up and releasing a Shuriken at the slinger that had just flung the glue at the dragon born. The silvery glint crosses the distance in a flash and lodges itself in the skirmisher's throat in a well of blood, though the very presence of the metal weapon keeps some of the blood in saving the creature from an instant death.

(using the stealth skill as part of my move, 21, Mira now has total concealment and combat advantage for her attack which she makes from G2 on the Slinger (-2 for range)
Attack = 15, Damage = 21)

OOC : Key word is time. What time? I was going to climbing on the platform and would have been able to neutralize the trap but... you know. Kobolds.

PS ; Moving 2 square in one round gives -5 to stealth. I'm pretty sure it's still a success. Just saying.

The Fleeting Ghost At-Will utility power (level 2) eliminate that penalty and is clearly meant to be used for just what you are describing.

Actually, it says moving MORE than 2 squares is -5, I moved exactly 2, so no - 5. A 21 should be fine, even a 16 is probably good enough though.

OOC: Mal has it exactly. FWIW, the ropes are spindly and almost anyone could stretch and attack them from almost any square in the middle of the room, provided the trap operated. Telsayn had cover, not total cover. I didn't figure that in, but it still would've hit.

OOC:Arden had an action readied for enemies to come out, so he should have been able to attack as an immediate. I will roll an attacka and then act normally, if it's not possible for any reason, just ignore my immediate action.

Arden reacts at the sight of the kobolds coming out and sends a blast of freezing energy at the kobold above Mal (immediate; ray of frost 15 vs for; 7 cold dmg + slow -no move more than 2)

If the kobold falls, Arden attacks the one in i11; if he doesn't get the immediate attack for some reason or the kobold still stands, he attacks the same. (magic missile 22 vs ref; 10 force dmg ) Furthermore, he tries to use his magic hand to catch the swinging skull in mid-air and keep it away from the platform (the one on his left if the kobold is still alive; the other if it isn't; move and minor action; i don't know if this is even possible, but i guess it was worth a try)

OOC : If Aelek succeeds in breaking the door opens, Mal will try to move in front of him.

I will need to see what's going on behind the door to be more specific.

Sarah ; Shadow Walk doesn't grant +2 to defences, it grants concealment which inflicts -2 to attack rolls on those who target you.

In most situation (like right now) this amount to the exact same thing but not always because I don't think concealments stack. For example If you were in dim light against opponents without low or dark vision and you used shadow walk, I'm pretty sure that would still be just -2 to attack roll. A more common situation ; if you are both invisible and shadow walking, it'd still be just -5.
