The Retaking of Forgehold - 4E

damn forum went down when I posted my actions.

Angel spots the remaining Slinger on top of the wall and her eyes shines with fiery magic. Eldritch Magic builds up in her hand, crackling and sparking as she send the bolt flying through the room toward the Kobold.

Minor: Curse on F7
Standard: Eldritch Blast on slinger F7 (1d20 4=12, 1d10 4=9, 1d6=2) 12 vs reflex, so miss?

Move: Angel quickly runs out from the entrance and follows Mal into the corner J12

Arden steps aside (I4)to gain a better view, the he unleashes his power. His Arcane orb glows suspended magically between his hands, and an invincible torpor descends upon the three kobolds and the drake on the far platform.
(Sleep burst 2 centered on B8. 24,6,9,14 The spiretop drake and the kobold wyrmpriest are slowed and have to save against unconscoisness; the dragonshields are slowed ,save ends. Arden uses the power of the orb to give the kobold wyrmpriest a -2 penalty to his saving throw))te two armored kobolds seem the less affected, but Arden decides to concentrate more of his power on the obvious leader.

OOC: #*§@ç i rolled my first critical on invcastle ever on an attack that isn't affected by it...

Angel quickly runs out from the entrance and follows Mal into the corner. (J12)

Mira creeps along through the shadows to move up behind Arden, using the taller man to hide her from the Slingers' view for the neccessary few seconds to catch it by surprise with a flung shuriken. The shuriken strikes the lip of the platform at the creatures feet.

Mal follows the boulder and moves against the wall.

The slinger hurls a globe (1d20 6=12, 1d6 3=8) at Arden, but it strikes ther floor next to him.

* MAP ERROR arden is in I4!

The Wyrmpriest shift and shoots an orb of cold at Telsayn and misses as he starts to close his eyes. He fights to stay awake (1d20-2=10) and shakes off the sleep spell.

The boulder continues rolling.

Aelek, seeing Mal approach, decide to create a diversion in hope to attract the attention of the Dragonshield and the Drake. He moves behind the boulder path and go up to C5 to get a partial cover, but get ready to charge next round to support Mal.

Telsayn dodges around the rolling boulder and unleashes his breath weapon on the
Kobolds. One of the ones with the shield didn't put it up in time and hisses as the acid burns him. Telsayn channels the power of Bahamut to challenge him to attack.

The Drake flies over and snaps (1d20 6=8, 1d6 4=5)at Aelek uselessly then flies back. It in no longer affected by the sleep .(1d20=14)

The Priest barks at the Dragonshields and although one visibly cringes under the strain, they remain in place.

Angel moves up to D11 (6 squares, Shadow walk activates(enemies have -2 to attack rolls)) and notices the Wyrmpriest.

"You seem important, let's see how tough you are"

Angel's eyes burst with fiery light once again as she charges up a crackling bolt of elrdritch magic and sends it explode onto the Kobolds' leader. Before it can recover from the impact, The shadows seems to become darker around it. Angel lift her hand in the air and a large black spike bursts out from under the Kobold impaling it! Following Angel's hand, the dark magic sends the Kobold flying and spinning, cashing at Mal's feet after a nasty fall.

Minor Action: Curses on dragonshield on B9 (closest to me)
Standard Action: Eldritch Blast on wyrmpriest (1d20 5=13, 1d10 4=11) 13 vs reflex, so hit for 11 damages. (Primeshot for +1 to attack roll for being the closest to the target)

Action Surge; +3 to next attack roll

Standard Action; Diabolical Grasp on wyrmpriest (1d20 8=16, 2d8 4=15) 16 vs fortitude for 15 damages. The wyrm Priest is dragged 2 squares down and 2 squares right, ending on C12 (total 4 squares.) It also suffer from the 10ft fall. (1d10+prone)

[sblock=OOC DM] dunno if you want to roll the falling damage yourself, but I rolled a 1 for it :P falling damage (1d10=1)[/sblock]
