You all awaken tonight to the sound of battle!

By the flicker of the dimming fires, you see the rest of the caravan being swarmed by goblins. Some seem to be grabbing anything they can, while others are holding off the people putting up a fight. You are surrounded!

Do we assume that by the time our initiative comes around, we are ready to fight, or do we have to stand up etc? I assume the former, I'll edit if this doesnt work.

Mal attacks goblin G3 and, if he hits, will push him in diagonal to the SW and take his place. Otherwise he'll end up in face of G3, next to the wood. Of course, I mark the target.

btw; Mal has 40 hp now, not 34.

[sblock=actions]minor=take out the orb. Move to S,SW,S. Standard: icy errain centered between G4 and W3. attack G1,G4,W3: 7,9,17 vs Ref, 11 cold dmg. Creatures hit fall prone. The burst 1 is difficult terrain till the end of Arden's next turn.
Immediate reaction: IF Arden is hit by an attack that targets his AC or Ref defense, he activates Shield, that confers him a +4 bonus to Ac and Ref before damage is done and till the end of Arden's next turn[/sblock]

Mira moves to the right of Angel and throws a shuriken at a goblin, which glanced off the metal shoulder guard of the goblin's piecemeal armor.

Mal rushes past Angel and slams into the closest goblin.

The goblin crumples under the force of your blow and dies.

Arden follows Mal's way. Then he gestures briefly while grabbing his eldritch Orb and a blast of cold explodes in the middle of a group of enemies, freezing the terrain under their feet.

The wolf leaps forward only to be frozen solid by the blast of ice. Its body land with a thud, slihgtly chipping the smooth ice around it.

Aelek moves forward and taunts a goblin with his sword, but the blow is too much for the goblin, who falls easily.

Two of the goblins take up rear position and take aim at the one able to freeze big swaths of the battlefield. One javelin glances off Arden's thigh, injuring him.

When I killed the first goblin, my lifedrinker weapon gave me 5 temporary hh. You lose temp hp first so I'm still at 40/40.

It is my understanding that the lifedrinker weapons works like the infernal warlock power; meaning that temp hp from the same source don't stack and so I can only have 5 temp hp from my sword active at a time. Therefore if these are both minions and they both die, I still only have 5 temp additional HP, not 10.

Arden Launches another attack in the middle of his enemies, but this time, he summons a burst of fire.
