OOC: Please note, I realize now that my image was incorrect and the kobold is directly north of Telsayn. I am not letting you move round the corner until we discuss future combat handling in the OOC thread. The Kobold has three hp left.

"Running away on me? I don't think so..." (minor action, curse on kobold)

Angel opens her hand toward the fleeing Kobold and unleash one last blast of magical energy. The bolt flies through the air, spinning around furiously down the hall as the kobold takes one last look behind him, almost smilling at his successful escape attempt. for a split second just before the bolt hits him, he realise whats coming toward him... his doom... The blast hits him in the face with a fiery explosion of magic and scales.

"die..." whispers Angel as she slowly lowers her hand...
[sblock]
Eldritch blast on the fleeing Kobold. just hit... (1d20 4=24, 1d10 4=8)

Critical hit, so thats 20 damages including the curse.[/sblock]

The kobold's whimper trails off and its body slumps to the ground.

((OOC: You can choose to rest, or press on. Let me know the marching order and I will roll initiative and get going.))

Arden looks at the dead kobold with slight disappointment and comments We are too late to stop the kobold with the sling from alerting the others. We don't know what we'll find if we follow it so I say we take this chance to catch our breath for a few minutes and then walk in in a frontal formation as soon as we get past the corridor

OOC: well, i'd say short rest to recover encounter powers. As i understand it, the portcullis is still closed, right?

OOC : What encounter powers have been used that ned to be recovered? If we press now, they are less organized. I'm not sure we gain much by resting.

Doesn't bother me much, just sayin'.
