The Retaking of Forgehold - 4E

OOC: You could give them firepots or stink pots if you want to switch it u a bit. Honestly though, I think theyare plenty tough, annd the glue really plays to their strengths.

Mira sag's against the glue's bonds and leans against the wall to catch her breath after the impact from the Glue pot, that thing hurt. The only solace for her in the situation was that she was going to take all the left over glue pots that she finds intact and turn them against anyone else in the manner.

(Healing Surge for 6hp = 23/24hp, 3 surges remaining)

OOC : Mal 16/34 HP, is bloodied. 10 surge remaining. Aelek, Mal might need a word of encouragement. Start singing 'You're simply the best!' in an imitation of Tina Turner, it'll do the trick. ;)

Mal tries to unglue Mira as a standard action and moves to D9 afterward.

Seeing as there is no longer kobolds in sight, they can't attack us or use this blasted skull on a rope (I'm not sure how to visualize it, but I imagine it to be cackling!) Therefore, I suggest we all move to our 'breaching door' formation (let's hatch it out right now!) and delay until we are in position.

This may call for a new initiative when we open the door though it'd clearly the same encounter ressource wise since it won't take more than 2 rounds.

As long as Mal gets an Inspiring Word, I volunteer to open the door (It's gonna be unpleasant, no doubt).

Though Maybe the best tactic would be to have ranged attackers in front of the door but behind the pool (around F4). Mal, Tel and Aelek will stand on either sides of the door. (around D10 and G10). We'll see if Arden can push it open with a mage hand, otherwise Mal could kick the door open SWAT style (Standing back to the wall in D10, just next to the door, and opening it by kicking back/ramming with his shield so that he isn't in front when it opens.) Then, open fire with magic and shuriken. If the kobolds surge forward we slash at them with attacks of opportunity and if they retreat deeper we can enter and go after them.

OOC: I agree.

Arden moves to the pool (e4), then he makes the magic hand move towards the doors and drop the sunrod (in f9;free) and try to open the doors (move). Then, wether he succeeds or not, he readies himself to face anything that may come from the door (standard; ready against door opening and foes coming in)

"Shouldn't we check out whats on top of those platforms? If they expect us to come through the door, maybe it will surprise them if we come down the steps at the same time we open the door?" Mira suggests.

She frees herself from the gloppy paste as it dries and moves over to the slime pool (F4), putting it between her and the door, following the plan with a shrug. They could always go up top once they were sure the kobolds weren't having an ambush set for up there. The spritely girl draws a shuriken, it was actually one she had used in the first room of the warren, with a bit of gummy blood on it from the kobold, she'd have to clean it much better than that if their blood was going to be that goopy.

(Ready a standard action to attack the first non-party member through the door. Readied Attack = 14, Damage = 10 )

Angel walks up to F4, right next to the sarcofagus and by the slimy pit and readies an eldritch blast for anything that come sout of that door, if any.

"if anything, Arden and I can take care of whoever gets up there. Mal and Telsayn should get ready by the doors to strike if anything is hiding back there. I dont want to feel like pain, but I don't want us to get ambushed again." says Angel, keeping alert of whats in front of her.

OOC : I wish climb was still a fighter skill or Mal would definitely pick up on Mira's idea and climb.

OOC: Your wish is my command. I'll just got in my time machine and threatened Mike Mearls unless he puts Climb as some kinda fighter skill.
