The Retaking of Forgehold - 4E

Don't know about the others. I was planning to look for a fellow wizard sooner or later. But if you want to move on faster, an extended rest is good for me.

"Very good idea! We need a base of operation and a place to rest! 'A bear without a cave is prey'. Let's regain our strength, to slay another day." Ragnar adds nodding to Arden's question.

I vote for an extended rest.

-''A bear? You couldn't find a metaphor with wolves or something? I hate bears. They steal your lunch when you aren't looking and they are a bad surprise when you go looking for shelter during a storm. And they sure ain't good team players... Giants rats, that's what they are. Well, yeah, let's find an inn with good ale.''

"But they like honey and have a nice fur. Perhaps next time about wolverines?" Ragnar answers shrugging before he follows Mal.

You have heard that "The Spade and Shovel" is a very popular inn. The owner has secured a hold over the best meat supplies coming into Forgehold, and manages to keep it's prices reasonable. It also has a good reputation for non-watered-down alcohol, and comfortable beds.

You visit the tavern and all seems well.

Arden: You have separately heard that the most powerful wizards in town are in the employ of house Deluna. There is supposedly someone lese who lives in the 'fringe', the area inside the city walls that is somewhat inhabitable.
[sblock=ooc]Feel free to RP in the tavern or push to moving out the next day. I will respond, althouhg I will not run a mission until ragnar returns.[/sblock]

After having asked questions around, Arden joins his comrades at a table and speaks, sipping from a cup of wine: I have gathered some information. It looks like some powerful spellcasters are working for House Deluna. I have wanted to meet a fellow arcanist for a while since the start of our journeying. I think this might also be a good chance to make contact with the other main organization in Forgehold.
We have to wait tomorrow for the job, and now is as good a time as any.
Does someone care to join with me?

-''Go where? To House Deluna or to the 'Fringe' where that powerful wizard is supposed to live? Because I got to tell you, going somewhere called 'the Fringe' doesn't strike me as restful...''
