The RotK quiz

I am the KIng!

...but out of all the times I've read the books and watched the movies, I still have trouble telling Merry and Pippin apart sometimes! :o

Way too easy. For a real ROTK quiz there should be questions like:

1) What company did Bergond belong to?
2) Who was the Lord of Lossarnach?
3) What was the name of Gwaihir's brother?

...and so on. (Happily embraces his geekiness)

You scored 10 out of a possible 10
The King. You not only know the story back to front and can tell Merry and Pippin apart, you have all the miniatures and will be first in line to buy the complete trilogy on DVD.
I'd agree with the first and last phrases in the paragraph at least...

1) Beregond was a soldier in the 3rd company of the Citadel
2) Forlong
3) Landroval

(I have to admit I looked the last one up. :o )

More Tolkien trivia (not just ROTK)
4) What did the goblins call Glamdring? Orcrist?
5) Who was Sauron's boss?
6) What were the Simarils and what happened to them?

:)

4) Biter and Beater if I remember correctly.
5) Melkor aka Morgoth. That's an easy one too.
6) You didn't say this was going to be an essay question! Shortest answer I can think of -- the three jewels of Feanor which captured the light of the two trees before their poisoning. Stolen by Melkor. One ended up in the depths of the sea, one ended up in the heavens with Earandil as the evening star, and I can't remember what happened to the last one.
