Ok gentlemen, one of the hopes for this game I was intending to nurture was the chance to build on character histories and folklore of the setting. If everyone would like to now post a tale relevant to the setting, I'll award XP to each depending on its merits (from realism, to fantastical folklore, to actual history, go nuts).

I've got a wedding over the weekend, but I'l be back Sunday night to read them all...can't wait!

Well gentlemen I'm back from the wedding, if anybody is going to post a tale please do it in the next 24 hours (maximum), I'd like the game to move along quickly at the outset. If you dont want to add a story, that's fine, just say so on this board so we aren't waiting for somebody to post that has no intentions of (make things nice and easy for us).

I'd like to read tales from everyone, so I can incorporate your character's histories into the story a little more. But if it aint gunna get done, it aint gunna get done. Like I mentioned before, there will be xp for the people that decide to post. Thanks.

Sounds cool. Can I get people to post by this time tomorrow, either their story or simply a post so I can see that everybody is still alive (it's been very quiet). I'd hate to see any players lapse this early in the game...

I've got a story, though it's more Dreamtime than European myth. It deals with that most vital yet unpleasant of creatures, the camel. A paper delayed me writing it out; I'll have it in this afternoon.

Yah, I'm alive and well. I'm putting some thought to a story, as well. Might be fun to work it into the game during a conversation, actually... Well, whenever we have some travel time to wile away.
