The Seven Brothers

How are the write ups of these guys in Dieties and Demigods?

They are? I thought there were only some gods from Finnish mythology, like Loviatar.

Oh yeah, and drnuncheon, that's a poor excuse. Languages only cost 2 skill points each! :)

There is:

Vainamoinen (hero)
Ahto (gof of seas and water)
Water Dwarf (Ahto's shield man)
Hiisi (god of evil)
Ilmarinen (hero)
Ilmatar (goddess of mothers)
Kiputytto (goddess of sickness)
Kullervo (hero)
Lemminkainen (hero)
Tiera (Lemminkainen's shield man)
Louhi (old crone of Pohjola)
Loviatar (goddess of hurt)
Mielikki (goddess of nature)
Son of Pohjola (evil hero)
Surma (demigod of death)
Tuometar (goddess of the underworld)
Tuoni (god of the underworld)
Ukko (Supreme god of the Kalevala)
Air Maiden (Ukko's warrior)
Untamo (god of sleep and dreams)

Well, Croathian, that looks to be a list of characters from Kalevala. A bit inaccurate, though. Kiputyttö and Loviatar, to my knowledge, were one and same goddess. I don't recall Lemminkäinen having a shield man, and certainly nobody named Tiera, which isn't a Finnish name. Otherwise, it looks sound. I'll be statting the Kalevala characters as soon as the Epic-Level Handbook comes out.
And now, I present to you Aapo.

Aapo

Unfortunately *my* int isn't so high. I didn't get any free languages. And it's a real pain learning new ones. Those 2 skill points are drawn in blood, I think. I *like* languages, but I'm afraid French and German are all I can handle. Oh and 1/4 of a skill point spent on spanish...

And I'm so curious that I checked the Kalevala out of my college library.

The translator is Keith Bosley for whoever wanted to know. The author is Elias Lunnrot?

Indeed.
As for languages, I seem to have received at least English thanks to my high int, but at least 1 point has been burned into learning Swedish (my dad's second mother tongue) and one into German, so I'm still far from being a linguistic expert. Most of my skill points seem to have gone into Computer Use (Int) and Perform (roleplaying) (Cha)...

I speak Finnish and English fluently, German and Swedish a bit less fluently, and can swear proficiently in ten different languages. Also, my great affection to opera has given me a basic understanding of Italian.

Here, in honor of the Easter holidays... Simeoni, the fourth brother.

Simeoni
Male human Com12; CR 6; Medium-Size Humanoid (human); HD 12d4; hp 24; Init +1; Spd 30 ft; AC 10 (Dodge); Melee quarterstaff +6/+1 (1d6/x2); Ranged musket +7 (1d12/x3); AL LN; SV Fort +4, Ref +5, Will +3; Str 11, Dex 13, Con 10, Int 9, Wis 8, Cha 10.
Skills and Feats: Handle Animal +4, Hide +5, Knowledge (religion) +6, Listen +1, Profession (farmer) +3, Spot +1; Alertness, Dodge, Endurance, Run, Skill Focus (profession [farming]), Run
Equipment: quarterstaff, musket, 10 bullets, Bible, the ABC-book, backpack

Description: Simeoni is average-size, and thin, with light-brown hair. Physically, he is not much special, and mentally even less so. He is very strict about the teachings of the Bible, bad-tempered, not very bright, a skinflint, and borderline alcoholic. In his age, he is the fourth youngest, after Juhani, Aapo, and Tuomas.

Well, I was bored. Here, the only Brother with PC class levels...

Lauri
Male human Rgr3/Com7; CR 5; Medium-Size Humanoid (human) HD 3d10+7d4+20; hp 49; Init +2; Spd 30 ft; AC 13 (+2 Dex, +1 Dodge); Melee quarterstaff +9/+4 (1d6+3/x2); Ranged musket +8 (1d12/x3); AL N; SV Fort +9, Ref +5, Will +4; Str 16, Dex 15, Con 15, Int 10, Wis 12, Cha 10.
Skills and Feats: Animal Empathy +4, Craft (woodcarving) +8, Handle Animal +6, Listen +5, Profession (butcher) +3, Profession (farmer) +5, Spot +5, Wilderness Lore +5; Alertness, Dodge, Endurance, Great Fortitude, Run
Equipment: quarterstaff, musket, 20 bullets, the ABC-book, hand axe, backpack

Description: Lauri is as strong and big as any of the brothers, but far quieter and more introspective than his siblings. The ways of the forest fascinate him, and he likes to spend his time there, inspecting any deformities of trees, which hold particular interest to him. This has earned him the nickname 'Badger', for which he has carried a grudge for a long time.

And now that the Easter and April Fools' Day have passed, and my sugar high is waning, I give you Timo.

Timo
Male human Com6/Exp4; CR5; Medium-size Humanoid (human); HD 6d4+4d6+20; hp 50; Init +1 (Dex); Spd 30 ft; AC 12 (+1 Dex, +1 Dodge); Melee hand axe 1d6/x3; Ranged musket +7 (1d12/x3); AL N; SV Fort +6, Ref +5, Will +6; Str 15, Dex 13, Con 14, Int 7, Wis 10, Cha 10.
Skills and Feats: Craft (brewing) +3, Handle Animal +4, Listen +6, Perform (singing) +6, Profession (butcher) +4, Profession (farmer) +5, Ride +5, Spot +6; Dodge, Endurance, Run, Track, Weapon Focus (hand axe)
Equipment: quarterstaff, backpack, knife, the ABC-book, hand axe, musket, 20 bullets

Description: Timo, the twin brother of Lauri, is much smaller than his brothers. He sports a short beard and moustache, and a hairline beginning to recede despite his young age of 20 years. He is an excellent singer, and along with Aapo's stories, provides a great part of the brothers' evening entertainment. He is also a fierce fighter, which was proved when he slew several charging oxen with only a hatchet. His were also the bullets that were used to slay the rest of the cattle, when they were surrounded. One of Timo's favourite pastimes is getting drunk and waking up in some unlikely place. He is also the thick-headest of the bunch.

Well, here is the last brother. I just noticed the skill points are off on all of the other brothers, and there are some other screw-ups, too. I'll fix them when I have time and the inclination.

Eero
Male human Com3/Exp5; CR4; Medium-size Humanoid (human); HD 3d4+4d6; hp 13; Init +2 (Dex); Spd 30 ft; AC 13 (+2 Dex, +1 Dodge); Melee quarterstaff +5 (1d6/x2); Ranged musket +7 (1d12/x3); AL LN; SV Fort +3, Ref +7, Will +5; Str 10, Dex 14, Con 11, Int 17, Wis 9, Cha 12.
Skills and Feats: Appraise +5, Bluff +6, Craft (butchering) +7, Craft (farming) +11, Craft (woodcarving) +5, Gather Information +5, Handle Animal +7, Innuendo +7, Knowledge (geography) +9, Knowledge (local) +9, Listen +3, Profession (farmer) +7, Profession (huntsmaster) +5, Ride +6, Search +7, Spot +3, Wilderness Lore +4; Dodge, Lightning Reflexes, Run, Track
Equipment: quarterstaff, backpack, knife, the ABC-book, musket, 20 bullets

Description: Eero is the smallest and youngest of the brothers, being both very thin and very short. He has coarse, dark brown hair, and matching eyes. What he does not have in his body, he has in his mind, being, by far, the smartest of the Jukola boys, and probably outwitting the villagers, too. He is a sarcastic fellow, who likes to point out the flaws in others, especially his brother Juhani, often disregarding the possibility they might react violently, as Juhani often does, once someone has pointed out the insult for him.
