Silven Crossroads is an RPG community dedicated to producing high-quality, free material for the RPG gaming community, targeting both PnP and CRPG gamers. The Silven Trumpeter is the official monthly e-zine and PDF-based magazine of the Silven Crossroads. We are a volunteer-based community looking for freelance writers willing to contribute. The time commitment is up to you: whether you have one article you'd like to submit or you'd like to run a monthly column for the next three years, we welcome your voice!
Who Should Apply
We are looking for people with the following traits/skills:
a) excellent writing skills in English
b) passion about RPGs
c) gaming experience in the areas you wish to cover
d) solid team player and dependable personality
What We Can Offer
Since everyone who works on the site does so for free (for now!), we have tried to put together a selection of services that we can offer writers in return for their work. Here is what we can give you:
a) You retain full copyright of all work published
b) You will have the ability to communicate with our other writers in our guilds and receive, support and guidance as needed
c) We have professional editors who can help your improve your work and enhance your skills
d) Exposure! We welcome writers and artists trying to break into the industry and provide that critical "first published credit"
