The simple joys in life

roses. lemons. girls.

human touch. walks. swinging.

yoga. beathing. being alone.

The simple pleasures are amazingly good, as I'm pretty sure our bodies thirst for and crave them.

I like lying on the ground after suffering a head injury. It's very relaxing. Probably the most relaxing thing I do each week.

The sound of wind.
Warm cookies.
Cold milk.
Hot chocolate.
A flame.
A soft breeze.
The smell of a garden.
The texture of a fig leaf.
The sound of laughter.

I like opening windows. Everywhere I go, I try to open windows.

Well, if I'd not showered since Christmas, I would too! :)

Long hot showers, staying up waaaay too late and sleeping waaaay too long, goofing with my son, the very special silence of an hour before dawn, when only an occasional bird or insect is calling, rain, snow falling, the smell of burning leaves in autumn, hitting the exact same notes Bruce Dickinson does in "Hallowed Be Thy Name", kittens, daydreams about old girlfriends, a beer on the porch on a summer night with my brother, my wife's smile, being told by one of my players that something I described in an encounter was "absolutely perfect", warm zucchini bread with butter and a glass of milk, wind chimes, a child's laughter....many, many things.

OH...and my Aye-Aye Avatar. Thanks, Turanil!!!!!
