I agree. Well, something to look forward to once Episode III has been released :p

I hope it's a musical, but they might think that is copying South Park too much... we'll see.

(tempting...tempting....successfully resists temptations to launch into quote after quote after quote from the ever-so-wise Homer)

And, thus, you have all been spared....

Why can't they just let the series die? The quality of the show is slowly dropping as the writers burn out and there are fewer fresh ideas. Instead of letting The Simpsons pass on the torch to the next generation of Groening shows, they killed Futurama and force The Simpsons to eke out a stretched, zombie-like existence.

Comic Book Guy: "Last night's episode of Itchy and Scratchy was, without a doubt, the worst episode ever. Rest assured that I was on the internet within minutes registering my disgust throughout the world."
Bart: "Look, I know it wasn't great, but what right do you have to complain about it?"
Comic Book Guy: "As a loyal viewer, I feel that they owe me."
Bart: "What?! They've given you thousands of hours of entertainment for absolutely free. How could they possibly owe you? If anything, YOU owe THEM!"
Comic Book Guy: "Worst. Episode. Ever."

:D
