The room appears to be free of traps, and there is no easy way to reach the upper levels of the tower. The floors above don't so much seem like floors with holes in them, but holes with edges of the floor still clinging to the walls - except for the uppermost floor. The fourth floor remains almost entirely intact, save for a small hole against the eastern wall of the tower.
Falariel pulls the spear from the goblin's rotting abdomen, causing the corpse to slump awkwardly and stiffly to the floor. Behind where the goblin once stood with its back against the wall, there are deep-set and impressive runes carved into the rock, covered with dried blood and bits of rotting flesh.
Gamad reveals to the party that the runes are of the Draconic language. They read what appears to be a name - "Ashardalon."
