The Tielfling and The Gnome: On the Set of 4th edition

I had Malcolm McDowell and Christina Ricci, but Jeremy Irons would make for a very interesting case that I hadn't thought of.

I think I like it.

There's also a gnome-girl outfit I've used for inspiration that comes from the Ann Taylor Loft Fall 2006 collection with lots of tweed and Victorian-styled Gibson Girl detailings that included a pocketwatch pendant, but I can't find the relevant picture anywhere...

My thoughts are along similar lines, but I usually think of gnomes having a darker complexion, so my models would be Ben Kingsley and Mila Kunis. :)

It's worth noting that even in the furry community, very few people like cows. ;)

Wow, I didn't see that coming. That is one pitch I kind of wish I hadn't thrown.

Going, going, gone Rechan hits a home run.

If gnomes are supposed to be so creepy i have the urge to burn them at the stake then yeah she pulls off the gnome look well.

Actually, that sounds like par for the course for gnomes these days, anyway. At least, I know folks who have always wanted to burn them at the stake.

Funny, I love both Gnomes and Kobolds, though Garl Glittergold is not a very nice Neutral Good God.

It is true though, Gnomes have never been incredibly popular, with things like Grey Elves running around, and as someone playing a Kobold Wizard, I don't believe putting htem in the MM really won't change all that much.

The pessimist in me wants to say that the reason the tieflings have giant tails and giant horns is because some of the tiefling feats allow them to use such appendages as weapons. Which isn't necessarily a bad idea, it's just a bit jarring to me, because I'm so familiar with the 2e's tieflings subtlety that the giant weapons growing from the body seem a bit too...well...BLATANT for my tastes.

2e tieflings were subtle? :uhoh:

Some of them were, true, but, some of the Di Terlizzi pics were pretty bloody in yer face as well.
