Not for Shuelsai, he's like the JarJar of Tol Haggerum (at least right now). He's easy. Other games though, I've had to wrack my brain hard once I came up and established a personality that no one objected to while I was writing them out or explaining them, to keep those characters involved and working within the framework of the game.
But hey, that happens in sit-down games too, with people I've gamed with for years.
