The tragedy of 4th edition.

Yeah, i´m happy that it all balanced out when the usual 4e detractors joined into the thread to do some laughing and finger pointing. It´s always good to have some people in a thread like this that tell you "haha, see, this part of the argument is just silly! As usual, [the other side] shows it´s true face! Wooot!"

But that part of the argument IS silly, because it's based on space logic wherein the OP, be claiming to like 4e while actually criticizing part of it is really a secret communist spy who does horrible things like kick puppies, laugh at crying babies, and point out small flaws in fourth edition that everyone seems to agree with.

If there wasn't so much hilarious hyperbole being thrown around, I'd probably agree, but...well, there IS that much hyperbole being thrown around, especially, as someone pointed out, on the first page. and it just progresses from there, because people refuse to back down. Some people here are painting the original post as some kind of horrifying terrorist propaganda. It is, quite frankly, from my perspective, awesome. One big avalanche started over nothing, and now INTERNET PRIDE is injured so nobody wants to back down. I've never seen a group of people troll themselves so effectively.

Quite frankly, threads like these are what the internet was truly made for.

This has stepped over into edition wars, and I'm closing the thread.

There are a number of people here who've not been behaving particularly well, and I'm disappointed.
