Just to add to the convo here, Bill (Webb) said on Facebook to check in Sunday. FGG has an announcement to make. :)

I know what it is! They really should announce things on Mondays, though. Sunday's a low-traffic day all-round.

My wallet screams for mercy. Now I not only have to buy S&W and PF FGG products, I have to buy 5E versions too! Damn being a completionist with every Necromancer Game and FGG product..

TBH if 5E goes as well as I think it will (I am an optimist by nature) it will take the place of SW and PF in my requirements.

I'm shocked at how fast that was - clearly they must have had access to the Basic rules prior to the official release, as they put this out less than twenty-four hours after the public release of the Basic game.

I'm also very excited that they used the OGL for this! Obviously there was little alternative - save for using the more nebulous "game rules cannot be copyrighted" issue - but it's still exciting to see, since 4E-compatible OGL materials were few and far between. Hopefully this is the beginning of a thriving 5E OGL community!

I should also mention how awesome it is to see The Wizard's Amulet updated to a new edition of the game! I remember playing the original (3E) version in college with some friends, so it's great to think that this may be the introductory adventure for a whole new generation of gamers.
